Titanic leaving Southampton, April 1912.

Titanic begins her maiden voyage to New York, 10 April 1912, calling first at Cherbourg in France and then Queenstown (Cobh) in Ireland.  The man in the foreground is holding a camera and is watching the departure of Titanic on board the same ship as the photographer who recorded this view.
