Titanic and Olympic together

Olympic and Titanic, two sister shipsThe two sister ships were together for the last time at the beginning of March 1912.  Olympic (left) had returned to Belfast for propeller repairs, a result of a collision with the Royal Navy cruiser, HMS Hawke. 

Titanic (right) was nearing completion.  This photograph was taken as Olympic entered the flooded Thompson Graving (dry) dock at high tide, shortly after 9.00am on Saturday 2 March 1912.
